Here are five of the top practical lessons that life has taught and continues to teach me.
1. Spend time thinking about the kind of person that you want to be 40 years from now. Family. Children. Career. Spiritual well-being.
2. Make choices every day that will lead you toward who you hope to become. From this point on, you will be a product of the choices you make.
3. The best use of your time is to prevent problems rather than react to problems.
4. It is far better to spend your time and energy only on things you can control. Trust God for what’s out of your control.
5. Don’t blame others. Simply take responsibility for what you can do to make things better. Blaming never solves problems. It only causes dissension.

Great advice Roger! I like the one about what you have control over...I need to be reminded of that often. :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with these lessons. I am still learning, still growing. But these are the summary of the things we must do to make life better. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Roger.
